Tabit running for seat on state Supreme Court

Kanawha County Circuit Court Judge Joanna Tabit will run for a seat on the state Supreme Court. She announced her candidacy yesterday to fill the seat created when Justice Menis Ketchum resigned last month. Tabit was appointed by the Supreme Court as an acting chief justice to hear matters concerning suspended Justice Allen Loughry, who is facing a 23 count federal indictment.
