City Council sued for reciting Lord’s Prayer

The Freedom from Religion Foundation is suing the city of Parkersburg for opening its council meetings with the Lord’s Prayer. The lawsuit claims the City Council is violating the First Amendment by endorsing a particular religion, and is seeking to stop the prayers.
