Yeager Aiport Moves Toward Solar Energy

Solar energy could be used soon to power Yeager Airport. Dan Hill Construction won the bid to start installing solar panels, and the airport is working on grant applications now to help fund the project. The Federal Aviation Administration has to approve the grant application, but if all goes well construction on the solar panels would begin this fall, with the goal of having the airport completely powered by solar energy in the future.
