Volunteers Help Establish New Trail at Nitro Lake

A Nitro lake is getting a new trail. Volunteers, along with the Nitro City Council have been working to establish another trail at Ridenour Lake that will work well for mountain bikers and hikers. There’s another trail there that gets plenty of use, but the volunteers want another trail for variety, and to provide a longer trail for runners, hikers, and bikers. The Friends of Ridenour Facebook page has been instrumental in the process of establishing the new trail as part of an overall effort to promote health, wellness, outdoor recreation and improvements to Nitro’s Ridenour Lake area.
