Police investigating a suspicious death in Marmet

A heroin related death in Kanawha County. Police are investigating after a body was found in a car in the Kroger parking lot in Marmet Friday night. The death appears to be a heroin overdose. The investigation led police to a home in Hernshaw where they arrested Valerie Ramey and FaShawn Cannon. The pair had drugs and weapons in their possession. Multiple charges are being filed.
