WV National Parks are open despite government shutdown

Three West Virginia National Parks will remain open, despite the federal government shutdown. New River Gorge National Park, Gauley River National Recreation Area, and Bluestone National Scenic River will remain open, but all visitor’s centers and offices are closed. The Park Service says emergency and rescue services will be limited.
