Work is Slow on Flood-Damaged Bridge

One of the effects of the June floods….the road that leads to Elkview Crossings Mall was wiped out. There are reports that Kanawha County Commission President Kent Carper is frustrated with the pace of the bridge repairs. Work on the washed out bridge could take six to eight weeks. The Bob Evans restaurant in the plaza permanently closed this summer. The library also can’t be accessed until the road is fixed, and they’ve set up a mobile library in the meantime.
