Woman accused of stealing checks from elderly man

A Fayette County woman is accused of stealing money from an elderly man. Lela Rhodes worked for the 92-year-old man; she’s accused of forging the victim’s signature on checks worth nearly 11-thousand-dollars. Rhodes is charged with over 30 counts of forgery and one count of financial exploitation of the elderly.
