Train Death Remains a Mystery
Investigators are still trying to figure out why a woman reacted the way she did just before being struck and killed by a train Monday. 56-year old Tami Ann Gibson of East Bank was killed as she walked towards the train on railroad tracks near East Bank. The engineer said she was in the middle of the tracks, but moved outside the rails after the train horn was sounded. She was still struck by the train. An autopsy may reveal more insight but the reason why she did not move farther from the train is unknown.
