Today Marks the Property Tax Deadline for a Discount

Today is the deadline to pay your property taxes and receive a discount. Those in Kanawha County who pay their taxes on or before Sept. 1 will receive a 2.5 percent discount. A reminder that the right lane of Virginia Street is closed between Goshorn and Court streets to allow space for short-term parking for those paying taxes. There’s a deputy sheriff on hand to monitor.
