Suspect in House Crash Answers to Charges

The man suspected of crashing into the front of a home near Sissonville in October had a court date Tuesday. 19-year old Zachary McCutcheon, of Charleston, is charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene with property damage after a vehicle crashed into a home in the 1400 block of Clearview Heights. The home was severely damaged, but there were no injuries. McCutcheon turned himself in and told detectives that he fell asleep at the wheel. He was arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court Tuesday.
