States reach a deal with mortgage company

West Virginia will get a piece of a 45-million-dollar settlement with one of the nation’s largest mortgage servicers. Prosecutors reached a deal with PHH Mortgage Corporation over allegations it improperly serviced mortgage loans between 2009 and 2012. Nearly 300 West Virginias are eligible for the payout.
