St. Albans couple accused of theft

A man and woman in St. Albans are facing charges for stealing a woman’s purse from her car. Abigail Lovejoy and Robert Sparks are accused of stealing the purse from the car and then ripping it away from the victim when she tried to stop them. The couple was caught a short time later at an ice cream shop and offered to return the money.
