Southern Pleads Guilty
The last of six company officials charged in the 2014 Freedom Industries chemical spill pleads guilty to pollution charges. Former Freedom Industries President Gary Southern entered the plea Wednesday and could face up to three years in prison. Southern pleaded guilty to three federal pollution charges, adding to the total of five ex-officials to plead guilty to pollution charges.
