School District Forms Social Media Policy

The Kanawha County school district is forming a policy now that will set up guildelines for what employees can and can’t post on social media. If they violate the policy they could be disciplined. The basic idea to the social media guidelines would be to keep from posting defamatory statements that would violate any school policies. The social media policy isn’t final yet, but could be up for a vote in early 2017.
