Roane County Deputies Seek Tips in Theft Case

Deputies in Roane County want help finding a suspect after several items were stolen from an equipment shed last Saturday. Deputies say someone swiped various tools and equipment from a shed in the area of Peniel Road and Rt. 33. Among the items taken – a Lincoln Electric 225 welder, tanks that hold chemicals, and a generator. Surveillance video captured the suspect, but it’s hard to see his face so deputies are asking for tips. There was a theft at the same location back in November 2016.
