Reorganizing West Virginia’s legislative districts

The West Virginia House has passed a bill that would reorganize the state into one-hundred legislative districts following the 2020 Census, with one legislator elected from each district. Currently more densely populated areas of the state have as many as five delegates. Proponents say it will make legislators more accessible and responsive.
