Police Release Identities in Nicholas County Murder-Suicide

Nicholas County deputies have been investigating a murder-suicide that happened Friday. Detectives said a man shot and killed his son-in-law during a child custody exchange at a GoMart in Craigsville. 69-year old Vonly York shot and killed 38-year old Luke Mcelwain. As police tried to negotiate with York, he turned the gun on himself. The children were not injured.
