Police cruiser hit during pursuit

A Williamson man is accused of leading police on a pursuit and hitting a police cruiser. Thirty-year-old Jerry Fields is facing multiple charges. Police attempted to stop Fields for speeding when he took off on U.S. 119 and led police on a chase reaching speeds over 100-mile-per-hour. Officers lost sight of fields, when he came around a curve and hit the front of a patrol vehicle. He was taken into custody, and no one was hurt.
