Parkersburg Air Samples are Within Acceptable Limits

Gov. Jim Justice said this week that 150 air samples have been taken in different locations near the former Ames plant in Parkersburg since Saturday, and all have been within acceptable levels. There were concerns that chemicals had leaked into the atmosphere since the plant worked with plastics, but the air quality tests were clear. The cause of the fire is unknown and there have been no reports of injuries. Justice pledged to use every available resource to help with the firefighting effort and investigation.
