Oil and Gas Workers Rally at the Capitol
About a thousand people rallied outside the state capitol Tuesday to press lawmakers to exempt some above ground storage tanks from inspection requirements. Oil and gas workers heard from Gov. Jim Justice at the rally, who said he was on their side but it all depended on the budget battle with state lawmakers, according to WCHS TV. The oil and gas industry also wants the state to ease rules on drilling and leasing.
