Murder sentence upheld
The life sentence of a St. Albans woman convicted of stabbing Nancy Burdette Lynch to death last year, has been upheld in Kanawha County Circuit Court. A judge Wednesday maintained his sentence against 28 year old Jessica May Wilson. She admitted killing the 66 year old victim during a robbery. Judge Duke Bloom sentenced Wilson to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Her lawyers argued that the guilty plea Wilson entered was breached when prosecutors offered details about the crime before the sentence was handed down.
