Murder Sentence Handed Down After Craigslist Meeting

A man is pleading guilty to killing a Cross Lanes teenager. 36-year old Ernest Roach pleaded guilty to murder Thursday, also evidence tampering and abuse of a corpse. He was sentenced on the spot, and will spend 19 years to life in prison. WCHS TV reporting three other charges were dropped as part of the plea deal. 16-year old Erica Brown’s body was found along the Ohio River in Meigs County in late August 2014. Authorities think the two met online through Craigslist.
