Mountain Valley Pipeline

Public hearings are being held this week by state regulators in West Virginia over the Mountain Valley Pipeline. The proposed pipeline would run through nearly 200 miles of the state and cut across eleven counties. Those in favor say it would feed the growing demand for natural gas along the East Coast but opponents are voicing concern about the environment. The first meeting is tonight in Webster County, the second is in Summers County and the third takes place Thursday in Harrison County.
