Methanol plant will open a year later than expected

A West Virginia methanol plant will open more than a year later than expected. U-S Methanol says the company’s facility in Institute will start production in 2019. Construction began last September, and officials expected it to open later this year. The company says it’s waiting on a new compressor for the plant.
