Marijuana and guns found after man was rescued from burning home
A Charleston man was rescued from a burning house early Wednesday morning, and now is in jail. Sixty-three-year-old John Ferrell was trapped in his second floor bedroom on Noyes Avenue. Firefighters rescued him and he was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center. When police went into the home they found a large indoor marijuana growing operation along with hundreds of guns and ammunition. Ferrell is facing drug and weapons charges.
