Less food wast at Marshall University

Less food will be tossed out at Marshall University this year, and more of it will end up in a compost pile. The school’s waste recovery program hopes to sell the composting material by the start of the spring semester. In another initiative, uneaten food from the schools three dining halls will be donated to local food banks.
