Lawmakers Consider Soda Tax
The West Virginia House of Delegates is looking into a bill that would tax soft drinks an extra penny for each 16-ounce bottle of soda.So, the next time you purchase your favorite soft drink you might see a slight increase in price. Lawmakers say money generated from the tax would be used to pay for education.
