Jobs being Eliminated

Hundreds of jobs are being eliminated at Charleston Area Medical Center. The hospital said it is struggling economically and must slice 300 employees from its Charleston payroll. CAMC is operating with a 40-million-dollar loss since the start of the year and the reductions are expected to be completed by late December. The hospital also plans to eliminate several programs and realign others as part of a cost cutting move.
