Getting of the Travel Plaza business

The West Virginia Parkways Authority may decide to get out of the travel plaza business. The Parkways Authority takes care of nearly all the maintenance of the three travel plazas on the Turnpike between Charleston and Princeton,. Maintenance was not included in the state’s 30-year plan. The Parkways authority would still own the land, but allow the private sector to fully operate the facilities.
