Fighting the sanctuary cities mandate

West Virginia is leading a group of states fighting the sanctuary cities mandate. Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry filed a brief Wednesday that urges a federal appeals court to overturn a lower court ruling. That would lead to enforcement of President Trump’s executive order regarding sanctuary cities that Landry says rob law enforcement officers of the tools they need to protect communities.
