Couple charged after 3-year-old takes prescription meds

A Nicholas County couple is facing child neglect charges after a 3-year-old swallowed prescription medication. Junior Vernon Stewart the second, and Melody Rae Stewart are charged in the March 5th incident. The child became ill after taking the pills and was taken to Summersville Regional medical Center, and later transferred to Charleston for treatment.
