Candidates Spending

As the race for the attorney general and governor makes a final push, the campaign finance records show all candidates are spending a lot of money. Senate President Bill Cole is being outspent by Democrat Jim Justice. Cole’s campaign has spent two-and-a-half million dollars so far, and Justice has spent more than four million. Doug Reynold’s campaign has outspent incumbent Attorney General Patrick Morrisey by a two-to-one margin.
