California couple, accused of torture, has West Virginia ties

A California couple accused of shackling their thirteen children to beds and not feeding them, has ties to West Virginia. David Turpin, the man accused of torture and child endangerment, grew up near Green Valley. His parents are from the Princeton area. They say they spoke to their son last week and are shocked by the allegations.
