Boone County Pharmacy Sued for Dispensing Too Many Pain Pills

State Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is suing a pharmacy in Boone County over painkillers. Morrisey alleges that Larry’s Drive-In Pharmacy helped boost the state’s problems with too many highly addictive painkiller prescriptions, and gave out too many for over a decade. The lawsuit claims the pharmacy failed to identify suspicious prescriptions and dispensed disproportionately more than eleven other pharmacies in Boone County.
