Billion dollar opioid epedemic

West Virginia’s opioid epidemic comes with a big price tag, costing the state’s economy nearly a billion dollars. WVU Chief Economist John Deskins says loss of life, loss of jobs, and tying up resources that could be used elsewhere is forcing the state to economically reinvent itself.
