Almost All Power Has Been Restored

Power was restored to most customers by Monday morning after a wind storm knocked out electricity over the weekend, but six thousand remained without power. At the height of the outage more than 45,000 accounts were dark, caused by wind gusts of nearly 60 mph. More than 400 workers were called to help restore power and they’ll work until all power has been restored, which AEP said will be by 4pm today at the latest.
