November 28, 2025-December 24, 2025 Kermit Tyree Holiday Light Contest-It all started with a single string of lights in 1967…and now it’s grown to cover all of 20 acres. You can find the Tyree Farm off Exit 9 on Interstate 79 (the Elkview exit) or off Exit 116 on Interstate 77 (the Sissonville exit). They’re located halfway between the two interstates, on Aaron’s Fork Road, about 7 miles from either exit. You’ll know it when you see it, starting with the miles of lighted fence!

November 29, 2025- December 21, 2025 City of South Charleston Farmers Market– The City of South Charleston’s Tree Lighting located at 4006 MacCorkle Ave. in South Charleston.  South Charleston is thrilled to kick off their FIRST ANNUAL Christmas Market going on November 29 through December 21st.  Step into a holiday wonderland filled with Christmas Tree and Holiday décor, fresh baked goods, holiday workshops, Santa visits and more!
 
December 11-13, 2025 Walk Thru Bethlehem – From 6:00pm-9:00pm you can step back in time and journey through the streets of Bethlehem.  Meet live animals and townspeople, visit the stable and see baby Jesus  Experience the wonder, the sights and the sounds and the true meaning of Christmas!  Admission is Free, All are welcome.  Located off 25 3rd avenue South in Hometown, WV 25109.  Turn by Hometown Tire. 

December 11, 2025 Sissonville Library Community Christmas Party with Santa – From 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Sissonville Library.  The Jolly Ole Elf Himself, Santa Claus, will be there to speak with the children!! FREE event!!

Hurricane Parade December 13, 2025 – It’s the Santa’s Helpers on Parade in Hurricane.  The parade will kick off at Noon, just past Hurricane Middle School and end at First Baptist Church on Main Street.

Nitro Christmas Parade December 13, 2025- Kicking off at 6pm on 1st Ave in Nitro down Pickens Rd.. to W 19th St.  WV Winterfest will be going on at the Nitro Public Library from 10am-3:30pm.

The American Legion Post 19 in Logan Christmas Dinner December 14th– It’s the annual Veterans Christmas dinner at 4pm located at 69a Water Street in Logan under the bowling alley.  All Veterans and their families are welcome.  For more information please call the American Legion at 304-752-4941.
