Kanawha School Budget

Kanawha County’s school system is projecting about $230.7 million in general budget revenue for next fiscal year — $5.3 million less than what was budgeted for this fiscal year.
The buzzword for the 2016-17 budget is decrease,” school system treasurer Lisa Wilcox told local school board members at a meeting yesterday, when the preliminary spending plan was revealed.
