Task Force Aims to Improve Public Health

Recommendations to standardize practices at local health departments in West Virginia will now go before the state Legislature. Members of the state Department of Health met Tuesday in Charleston to approve the final report for the Public Health Impact Task Force. The Task Force, made up of local and state public health officials, county commissioners, clinic officials, state lawmakers and more, was formed in April with a goal of improving the entire state public health system.
