Wood County to Receive Reimbursement for Fire Expenses

The state will issue a check today to Wood County for expenses related to the Parkersburg warehouse fire. The check for more than $1.4 million will help the county, which had worries of banruptcy after using resources to battle the blaze for eight days in October. The check presentation is set for 2 P.M. today at the state capital in Charleston.
