Thomas Health Reduces Workforce

Thomas Health System has reduced its workforce by about 10 employees as part of operational changes that included going from two information technology systems to one. The changes come as Thomas Health continues to review all of its operations during a difficult time in health care, and WCHS TV reports Thomas Health is one of many providers challenged by increased patients and lower reimbursements from Medicare and Medicaid. Thomas Health formed in 2007.
