50 Cats Removed from Home

It took a team of 20 police, fire and animal control workers in protective clothing and masks to remove more than 50 cats from a Charleston home yesterday. The home owner was first taken away by ambulance and then the cat recovery team went into the Lower Donnally Road residence. Neighbors had complained the home was a health hazard because of the strong ammonia odors.
