Woman Sentenced in Mother’s Death
A woman accused in what was described as one of the worst cases of elder abuse cases in Charleston’s history was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison. Peggy Quesenberry was sentenced in Kanawha County Circuit Court after pleading guilty to neglect in the death of her mother, Judy. Paramedics said the house was in unlivable conditions with trash piled waist high. Judy Quesenberry died at a hospital.
