West Virginia’s first confirmed Hepatitis A death

West Virginia health officials have confirmed the state’s first death linked to the Hepatitis A outbreak. The 33-year-old Kanawha County man had other significant health issues that contributed to his death. There are over 120 confirmed cases of Hep-A in West Virginia, over 80-percent are in Kanawha and Putnam counties.
