West Virginia school have an attendance problem

The state Department of Education’s first-ever Balanced Scorecard shows West Virginia has a chronic attendance problem. The report shows that over 50-percent of the state’s high schools failed to meet the standard of students attending at least one-hundred-sixty-two of the one-hundred-eighty day school year.
