Three Sentenced for Neglect After Woman’s Death
After an 88-year-old woman died from severe neglect, three people are facing prison time. Lisa Dunlap of Charleston was sentenced to 12 years behind bars Tuesday for neglect of an incapacitated adult causing death. She was the primary caregiver for her mother. Kayla Rogers was also sentenced to 12 years in prison, and John Rogers recieved one to five years plus five years of supervised release. Charleston Police found Norma Dunlap in May, malnourished and with bed sores, living in poor conditions.
