All West Virginia high school juniors will begin taking the SAT as the statewide assessment in the spring of 2018. The Department of Education said yesterday the test was selected as the successful bidder following a new requirement to identify a college entrance exam to be used as the statewide high school assessment. The SAT assessment will be administered in a paper format initially with an option to move online after that.
