Rucker appointed to chariman of the Senate Education Committee

Jefferson County Senator Patricia Rucker will serve as the new chairman of the Senate Education Committee. Rucker’s appointment was announced earlier this week. Leaders of West Virginia’s education unions are voicing concerns, citing her support for home schooling and private schools, in addition to allowing exemptions for vaccinations.
