Raising PEIA insurace tiers

Governor Justice is asking the Public Employees Insurance Agency to raise its tiers by 27-hundred-dollars each to avoid bumping workers into a higher insurance bracket after they just received a raise. Justice says the increase will make the insurance plan revenue neutral, and that should keep teachers, state employees, and state troopers from losing any of their salary increase.
